Day Two: Sunday Bloody Sunday

The ankles and toes hurt and the knees are a bit delicate but all in all I feel great. I slept so well after the walk that I feel fresh and alert which is a rare feat at 5:30 on a Sunday morning.
I realise that I should also be using this as a food diary but as i write this on Monday evening I realise that I have little recollection of what passed my lips on Sunday.
One of the issues of working on a compound in the middle of the jungle is a lack of personal cooking facilities. The intent is for all rotational staff to eat at the company canteen for three meals a day.
Prior to starting this quest, my usual day of food while at work would look something like this:

5:45am - Breakfast
Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Hash Browns
Water

11:00am - Lunch
Meat (Chicken/Beef/Pork), Potatoes/Rice, Gravy, Mayonnaise & Ice Cream
Water

5:00pm - Dinner
Meat (Chicken/Beef/Pork), Potatoes/Rice, Gravy, Mayonnaise & Ice Cream
Water

You can see why I am the weight I am can't you...?
All this food and little or no exercise has led me to this.
With my being fresh and alert on Sunday, I got a little carried away at work and didn't get to dinner until after 6pm. The smart ones amongst you will realise that this means that I would be trying to exercise on a full stomach.
This proved to be my undoing and i had to retire after only 1.5km.

Exercise completed: 1.5 Kilometres (Walk)
